A visual study of indigenous South African flora
An ink and watercolor series exploring the delicate structures of fynbos and succulents.
This project began as a personal sketchbook practice, documenting the unique botanical life of the Western Cape. Over several months, I developed a visual language that combines precise ink linework with translucent watercolor washes. The series has been exhibited at a local gallery and featured in a limited-edition print run. It reflects my ongoing fascination with the intersection of scientific illustration and contemporary art.

A set of bold, typographic posters that capture the energy of the city's creative scene.
Commissioned by the festival organizers, this project involved designing a series of posters for various events, from film screenings to live music performances. I drew inspiration from the vibrant street art and the natural beauty of Table Mountain. The final designs use a limited palette of terracotta, sage, and cream, with dynamic layouts that work across digital and print. The campaign was well-received, with several posters selling out as merchandise.

Hand-drawn observations of landscapes, towns, and everyday moments from a two-week journey.
This travelogue is a collection of sketches, notes, and small watercolor studies made during a slow journey along the Garden Route. I focused on capturing the atmosphere of each place, from the misty forests of Knysna to the rugged cliffs of Tsitsikamma. The sketchbook format allows for a more intimate and spontaneous approach, documenting not just what I saw but also the thoughts and conversations that shaped the trip. It has become a source of inspiration for larger studio works.
