Lia Folie Douce is an independent illustrator and art director based in South Africa. This website presents a selection of original works, including ink and watercolor illustrations, editorial design, cultural posters, and travel sketchbooks. The content is shown for informational and portfolio purposes only.
All images, sketches, and written notes displayed on this site remain the intellectual property of the artist. You may view and share the work for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you credit the artist. Any reproduction, resale, or commercial use requires prior written consent. When you submit a commission request, you agree to provide accurate details about the desired format, subject, and deadline so the artist can confirm feasibility.
The artist makes every effort to keep the portfolio accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee that all descriptions, project notes, or availability details are error-free. The site is provided on an "as is" basis. The artist is not liable for any indirect loss arising from the use of the website, including but not limited to missed opportunities or delays caused by technical issues.
The artist reserves the right to refuse a commission request if the subject falls outside her practice or if the requested timeline cannot be met. Either party may end a commission discussion at any point before a written agreement is signed. Once a project is confirmed, the terms of that agreement govern the work.
These conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the portfolio, the commission process, or legal requirements. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
